BSMotorsport takes GT3 Cup for the 2 hour Belcar Race
Drivers Philip Harris and Nigel Greensall after free practice on Friday we were 7th in class behind 3 GT3 RS’s 2 Super cup cars and 2 Ultima GTR,s with 10 seconds splitting the class and a 52 car grid.
Qualifying put us 6th in class, with Philip starting the race a last minute panic as the car would not fire up on the grid, but with the jump battery connected all was well, a good start in the dry but soon came the rain after 25minuits, holding the car out until the safety car was deployed was the right move as we pitted and completed driver change / fuel and tyre’s in under a minute and a half, Nigel taking over exiting the pit on the same lap, safety car coming in soon after, the lap times now at a blistering pace with full wet’s Nigel was averaging between 3 and 7 seconds a lap faster than the fastest car in qualifying.
On the 2 hour end we finished 5th in class and 18th overall out of the 52 starters, this was a outstanding result for our car with no mechanical faults.
