Brief from a client: Can you take a look at the engine on our new boat that Ben is racing in the GT15 World Championship Meeting to make sure firstly it's legal and secondly it is as fast and reliable as it can be. One other thing the race is in three weeks!

No Problem ! Sort of ! i will come and take a look; after a test at Stewerby Water with the boat it was quite obvious that we had some work to do both on the engine and the hull of the boat, we brought the complete rig back and started to prep the boat, this also meant designing the art work and a full re paint, engine striped and checked / gear box striped and checked, boat re wired seating position moved along with all control's including moving the steering wheel 180mm back as Ben is only 10 years old.

Mission complete and after an all night finish we deliver the boat back to Stewartby Water for a test. Then its back to  the workshop for some small minor adjustments with only 4 days before the World championship. We are back at Stewertby on the Thursday for testing but the weather was against us so it was qualifying on the Friday with no test!

Pole Position by just under 2 seconds, first Heat a outright win and this was the same for the other 3 heats giving Ben Jelf his first World Championship at the now age of 11 [his birthday was on the Saturday]
